Suddenly on Thursday October 10, 2024 at the age of 64. Predeceased by his wife Linda Shawarski. Cherished brother of Jo-Anne (Rob). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Kalie (Matt), Shauna (Curt), Natasha (Blake), and André. Fondly remembered by his great nieces and nephew; Cassidy, Shelby, Kynlee, Mara, Leon, Alice and Emi. Ron will be missed by his Dunks Crescent extended family.
Knowing Ron Bennett was a treasure and an experience. His love of life, family and all animals was boundless. He was Big Little Brother, Uncle Ron and a great friend to many.
When Ron spoke of his wife Linda, you truly felt the love he had for her. Linda and Ron’s world revolved around their pups – their stories of Poco the wolf, Zachary, Laney and Brandy were endless.
Ron had a great gift for telling stories that would engage you and always make you laugh. Sitting at the fire will never be the same.
He was a talented wood worker that took tremendous pride in doing it right.
Ron loved old movies, good music, playing his banjo, Willies Roadhouse and it goes without saying, cartoons.
He will be deeply missed and so will his big hugs.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St Parry Sound). As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary would be appreciated by the family.
