The passing of Scott “Scotty” Winfield Jewett of Saint John, NB, occurred on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at his home. Born on March 30, 1972 in Fredericton, NB, he was the beloved son of David Wesley (Shirley) and the late Sharon Lee (Bradford) Jewett. Scott was known for his quick humour, offending some while the rest of the room erupted with laughter. He was an amazing cook and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Known as a jack of all trades, you could always count on him to lend a hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his father, Scott is survived by his sons, Ryan, Tristan, and Bradford; daughter, Kendra; grandson, Dawson; granddaughter, Tianna; brothers, Kelly and Glenn; sisters, Krista and Nina; partner, Candace; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his brother, Andrew.
Scott’s daughter, Kendra would like to extend a special thank you to her colleagues at York Funeral Home for their care, compassion, time and effort spent, during this difficult time. It is appreciated beyond measure.
The Memorial Service will take place at the Victory Tabernacle Church, 8 Independence Street, Killarney Road, NB on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10 am with Pastor Emily Houle officiating. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Victory Tabernacle Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
