Obituary For Sooraj Minhas

It is with great sadness that the family of Sooraj Minhas announce his unexpected passing on October 8, 2024 at the age of 30 years.
Sooraj was born on March 17, 1994 at the QEII hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He quickly became everyone’s favourite and was doted on by everyone. He grew up surrounded by a large extended family and loved to play soccer. He adored his nieces and nephew and had moved to Edmonton in the past year for a new adventure. He still had so much to experience and we will miss him everyday.
He is survived by his parents Randeep Singh and Asharjeet Kaur Minhas and paternal grandparents Onkar Singh and Joginder Kaur Minhas, and predeceased by his maternal grandparents Gurnam Singh and Nirmal Kaur Parhar.
Funeral services will be held at the Bear Creek Funeral Home on October 13, 2024 at 1 PM, followed by a bhog at the Sikh Temple in Grande Prairie, AB.
