À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 30 septembre 2024, à l’âge de 93 ans, est décédée Mme Blanche Levesque, domiciliée à St-Basile autrefois d’Edmundston, épouse de feu Dr Gilbert ‘’Gil’’ Daigle, fille de feu M. Omer Levesque et de feu Mme Léona Richard.
Elle laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, ses enfants: Lyse Daigle (Guy Morin), Danielle Daigle (Prince Michaud), Denyse Michaud (Jacques Michaud), John J. Daigle (Tina Miller), ses petits-enfants : Jean-Philippe, John Michael, Krystine, Madison, Liam et Kian, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants : Juliette, Raphaël, Avery et Dax, sa sœur Georgette Poirier (feu Jean-Guy) ainsi que son frère André Levesque. Elle repose maintenant auprès de son époux, ses parents, de son frère Paul-Émile, ses sœurs : Jeannette et Claudette.
Une Célébration aura lieu le samedi 5 octobre 2024, à 15 h à la Résidence funéraire Bellavance avec l’inhumation au cimetière Immaculée-Conception.
La famille de Mme Blanche Daigle accueillera parents et ami(e)s à compter de 13 h samedi à la Résidence funéraire Bellavance du 153 chemin Canada à Edmundston. Les heures de visites seront de 13 h à 15 h soit l’heure de la Célébration.
La famille remercie sincèrement tout le personnel de la Résidence Hôtel-Dieu et du Pavillon LeRoyer de St-Basile ainsi que l’équipe des médecins et le personnel de l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston du département de réadaptation et des soins palliatifs pour les excellents soins reçus.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, September 30, 2024, at the age of 93 years, passed away Mrs. Blanche Levesque, she lives in St-Basile formerly of Edmundston, wife of the late Dr. Gilbert ”Gil” Daigle, daughter of the late Mr. Omer Levesque and the late Mrs. Léona Richard.
She leaves in pain but also with wonderful memories, her children: Lyse Daigle (Guy Morin), Danielle Daigle (Prince Michaud), Denyse Michaud (Jacques Michaud), John J. Daigle (Tina Miller), her grandchildren: Jean-Philippe, John Michael, Krystine, Madison, Liam and Kian, and her great-grandchildren: Juliette, Raphaël, Avery and Dax, her sister Georgette Poirier (late Jean-Guy) and her brother André Levesque. She now rests beside her husband, her parents, her brother Paul-Émile, her sisters: Jeannette and Claudette.
A Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 3 p.m. at the Bellavance Funeral Home, with interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Blanche Daigle will welcome relatives and friends from 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bellavance Funeral Home, 153 Canada Road, Edmundston. Visiting hours will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the time of the Celebration.
The family sincerely thanks all the staff of the Résidence Hôtel-Dieu et du Pavillon LeRoyer de St-Basile as well as the team of physicians and the staff of the Edmundston Regional Hospital’s Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Department for their excellent care.
