Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Ettinger
ETTINGER, Elizabeth Jane (Clark) – 93 of Hardwood Lands, passed away Sept. 27, 2024 at Elkcourt (Brookfield). Born and raised in Georgefield. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Daisy (Currie) Clark and later moving to Hardwood Lands.
The last of her siblings, Elizabeth had a full life of dances at the Nine Mile River Community Centre, bowling, card parties, ACW, WI and many other groups. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Lively, Maitland; Marilyn (Everett) Clarke, West Indian Road; and Sheila (Wilfred) Crowe, Debert; Grandchildren, Rhonda Clarke (Toby), Grant Lively, Darlene Lively and Rodney (Erica) Clarke; Great grandchildren, Dustin (Angie) Williams,, Wyatt Williams, and Lori West; Great-great granddaughter, Sierrah Folkertsma.
Extended family, Maxine, Judy Moore and family, Anne Williams and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; and special friend, Charles Smith. Brothers, Cecil, Philip, Douglas, Carl, Raymond and Laurence. Sisters, Ada, Hazel, Annie and Margaret. Son in law Grant Lively.
Cremation has taken place and burial is in the care of Ettinger Funeral Home where visitation will take place Wednesday October 2, 2024 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral will be Thursday October 3, 2024 at 11am.Burial will take place in St. John the Baptist Anglican Cemetery.
Donations can be made to St. James Anglican Church, Shubenacadie or donation of choice. Thanks to Elkcourt for the dedicated care given to make her feel at home.
