It is with great sadness that we announce Brent Taylor, age 82, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on September 24, 2024. Brent was born in Edmonton, Alberta on July 6, 1942, to Sherwood and Grace ( Parris ).
Survived by his loving wife June; daughter, Shelley and son Dean; Brent’s sister Linda and his brother Rod.
Brent and June married on July 21, 1962, sharing 62 years of life together as husband and wife. Together they had two children, Shelley born in 1965, and Dean born in 1968. Brent worked full-time in the Dairy industry for 36 years, while simultaneously working at Safeway part-time for 17 years. In addition, Brent was also building a cabin at Ross Haven, Alberta, finishing the basement himself at home and playing bass guitar in a band during the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s. He was a very busy person who enjoyed building things, playing guitar and piano, helping others and taking great care of his family.
Brent will be dearly missed by his family, relatives and friends.
A private funeral service will be held by the family to lay Brent to rest in eternal peace.
