It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Barrett of Spaniards Bay announce his peaceful passing after a brief and courageous battle with Cancer, on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the young age of 53 years.
His short but amazing life will forever be cherished by all who were lucky enough to have known him.
He leaves to mourn his loving family:
Love of his Life of 31 years: Lisa
Children: Tyler (Kelsey), & Bradley (Holly)
His four pride & joys: Owen, Luke, Riley, & Henry
Mother: Mae Barrett
Sisters: Brenda (Dave), Claudine (Shawn), Kim (Steve)
Parents-in-law: Lew & Jessie Neil
Brother-in-law: Phillip (Kerri)
And a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends…
Predeceased by:
Father: Jim Barrett
Grandparents: Flora & Richard Gosse, and Livie & Bill Barrett
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the Carbonear General Hospital Palliative Care Unit for all the kindness and compassion they had given Paul and his family.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, 488 CBN HWY, Spaniards Bay on Monday: 10:30 A.M.- 12 noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
