Alfredo Nesci, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Italy on January 27, 1936, Alfredo carried the warmth of his heritage throughout his life. He dedicated many years of service to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), where he was known for his commitment and work ethic.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 60 years, Gianconda Nesci. Together, they created a warm and loving home, raising their daughters Mena (Roberto) and Agnese, as well as their son Bruno. Alfredo’s legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Julian and Dante, who brought him immense joy.
Alfredo will be remembered for his generosity, strong spirit, and deep devotion to his family. His love and guidance will resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Visitation for Alfredo will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm- 6:00-9:00pm at DeMarco Funeral Home – Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, ON, M3J 1N4.) A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10:00am at St. Wilfrid’s Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M3J 2G8.) following Alfredo’s Mass an Entombment service will take place at Queen of Heaven (7300 ON-27, Woodbridge, ON L4L 1A5)
