Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Burton (Hoddinott) announce her passing on February 28th, 2023 at her private residence in her 68th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband: Lorne Burton; their children: Jennifer Wells (Steven), Roger Burton (Bette), Randy Burton (Amanda), Linda Strickland, and Darrell Burton (Heather); her grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jessica, Chloe, Olivia, Nathan, Mitchell, and Samantha; her great-grandchildren: Jaron, and Kaden; brothers and sisters: Rubena Ivany, Linda Parsons, Dave Hoddinott (Veronica), Terry Hoddinott, and Curtis Hoddinott (Kim); as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Betty is predeceased by her parents: Clarence and Elizabeth Hoddinott.
There will be a visitation held on Sunday, March 5th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Monday, March 6th, 2023 in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Betty’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
