Lorraine Linda Simpson Obituary
As a family we are announcing the passing of Lorraine Linda Simpson, at the age of 79, on Monday, September 25, 2024 in Sackville, NB. Born in Montreal, PQ, she was the only daughter of the late Harry and Thelma Field of Murray Corner, NB.
Lorraine along with her family owned and operated, Simpsons Fish Market in Murray Corner.
She is survived by her 3 children, Lisa Merrell (Ernest) of Westlock, AB, Michele Pauley (David) of Mates Corner, NB, and Jason Simpson (Wendy Smith) of Bathurst, NB. 5 beautiful grandchildren, Lloyd Merrell (Emily), Tyler Pauley (Jolene), Kyle Merrell (Amber), Spencer Pauley (Stephanie) and Kathleen Simpson; 9 awesome great grandchildren, Mason, Navaeh, Everly, Meara, Lincoln, Winsten, Walker, Raife and Reed; 3 brothers, Stewart Field (Betty), George Field (Joy) and Gregory Field (Brenda); many brothers and sisters in law and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Harry and Thelma Field, she was predeceased by her husband, Merton Simpson in November 2012.
As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) in care of arrangements.
