Carol Morton Obituary
Carol G. Morton, 79 of Moncton, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Maison Albert House Hospice on Monday, September 23, 2024. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Lyle and Dorothy (Russell) McKinley.
Carol was a retired Legal Assistant having worked many years with McInnes Cooper in Moncton and was a long-time member of St. John’s United Church and the UCW within the church. She loved travelling, tending to her jungle of a garden and she enjoyed socializing with her friends but first and foremost she loved spending time with her family.
Carol will be sadly and lovingly missed by her son, Dale Morton (Robin Joosse) of Riverview and her daughter, Heather Morton of Fogo Island, NFLD; cherished grandson, Tyler Morton; sister, Mary McKinley of Riverview; many extended family members. In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Donald Bruce Morton (March 11, 2010) and their beloved cat Tobi.
A Service to Celebrate and Honour Carol’s Life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, (506-858-1995) Moncton on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Aaron Billard leading the service. Reception to follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre, followed by the interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac.
