Michael Edmond Lewis passed away suddenly on Sept 20, 2024.
Mike was born on January 12th, 1987 in Selkirk, Manitoba.
He will be remembered by his fiancé and life partner, Tori Spencer, his parents Jim and Heather Lewis, his brother Kevin Lewis (Sarah), Tori’s parents Ian and Cynthia Spencer, and Tori’s sister Kelly Spencer.
Mike’s passion was hockey and he played on youth teams in both Selkirk and Boissevain, MB. He was a proud former member of the Selkirk Fisherman Junior B Hockey Club.
Mike graduated from Lord Selkirk Regional High School in 2004. He joined the RCMP and graduated from RCMP Depot in Regina, Saskatchewan in December 2008. He was a proud member of the Force. He was posted to Ste. Rose du Lac, Nelson House, Thompson, Winnipeg and most recently Yellowknife, NWT. Mike played hockey with the RCMP Red Coats Hockey Club which was his pride and joy. His teammates were brothers to him.
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba on Monday, October 7th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed via the following link youtube.com/live/Bvod5IJKlTY?feature=share
