Remembering Helen
Helen Langille Selig – 57, Truro, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on September 17, 2024. Born on December 4, 1966 in Tatamagouche, Helen was a daughter of the late Charles and Shirley (Taylor) Langille. Helen leaves behind her loving and devoted Husband of 26 years, Tony Selig; daughter, Kayla Sarson, Waterville; son, Tyler Selig (Lacey), Truro as well as her granddaughter, Tiggie, her pride and joy; sister, Mary-Lou Chambers (Allan) Dartmouth; brother, John Langille, PEI, along with many nieces and nephews, who affectionately knew Helen as “Honey.” She loved them as her own. Helen was predeceased by one sister, Terry Langille Dowe; nephews, Joey and Gary; niece, Jasmine. The family would like to thank Tony’s sister, Sheila Patriquin and friend, Audrey Baxter for all of their help as well as to the Dialysis Unit Staff of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre for their care of Helen. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a future date. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Dialysis). We are thankful that Helen is now pain free. Rest peacefully, Honey. We love you forever.
