It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Anita Lavigne at home, on Monday, September 16th, 2024 at the age of 66.
Cherished sister of Marc Lavigne (Nicole), Denise Lavigne (Doug), Nicole Hnotchuk (Mike) and Colette Lemire (Joel). Anita loved her nieces and nephews, Cody (Lee Ann), Jennifer (Aaron), Nicholas (Liz), Mario, Michelle (Denis), Mathieu and Bianca. She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, Braden, Cassidy, Éllie, Mekenzy, Dominic, Emily and Riley, as well as many cousins from near and far. She will be missed by her fur baby Bailey.
Anita is now reunited with her parents Ray and Isabelle Lavigne (nee Guenette) and her brother Bob.
Anita loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. She had a heart of gold and loved her family. She was also known as ma tante “bonbons”. There is nothing that brought her more joy and pride than spoiling her nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 21, 2024 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-3 pm at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

Chère sœur de Marc Lavigne (Nicole), Denise Lavigne (Doug), Nicole Hnotchuk (Mike) et Colette Lemire (Joel). Anita aimait beaucoup ses nièces et ses neveux, Cody (Lee Ann), Jennifer (Aaron), Nicholas (Liz), Mario, Michelle (Denis), Mathieu et Bianca. Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses arrière-nièces et arrière-neveux, Braden, Cassidy, Éllie, Mekenzy, Dominic, Emily et Riley, ainsi que de nombreux cousins d’ici et d’ailleurs. Elle manquera à son bébé en fourrure, Bailey.
Anita est maintenant réunie avec ses parents Ray et Isabelle Lavigne (née Guenette) et son frère Bob.
Anita aimait le plein air, la pêche et la chasse. Elle avait un cœur d’or et aimait sa famille. On l’appelait ma tante de « bonbons ». Elle avait un grand plaisir et beaucoup de joie à gâter ses nièces et neveux.
Le service funéraire aura lieu samedi 21 septembre 2024 à 15h dans la chapelle du salon funéraire. La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 21 septembre 2024 de 13h à 15h à la Maison Funéraire LESSARD.
