Mark Hambleton
July 26, 1963 – September 15, 2024
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mark in his 62nd year at Kingston General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved son of Sandra, and her husband, Doug Sutcliffe. Mark is survived by his brother, Wayne Hambleton, and is lovingly remembered by his step-sisters, Kelly Rheaume (Mark, Toronto) and Laura Boisvert (Jacques, Toronto) and nieces and nephew, Avril, Jasmine, and Andre Boisvert. Mark is also survived by his family and friends in Napanee.
Mark enjoyed hanging out with his buddies in Napanee and rooting for the Ottawa Senators and the New England Patriots. He was also a big music fan, rocking out to Rush, The Rolling Stones, and The Hip. And he made a mean pizza in his many years as a hardworking cook in Kingston and Napanee.
Mark’s absence will be deeply felt. He faced his cancer diagnosis with grace and dignity and never complained about the pain he endured in order to stay strong for his mom, Sandra. We are all grateful for the time we had with him post-diagnosis.
Mark’s family would like to thank his Palliative Care Team at KGH.

Cremation has taken place.
Mark will be forever loved and never forgotten.
