On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Monica Kathleen Medford (nee Maxwell) passed away peacefully at Foyer Maillard care Home, in Coquitlam at the age of 86, after a long battle with Diabetes and Dementia.
Monica is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Keith, son Michael (Anita) of Maple Ridge, and daughter, Michele (John) of Surrey. Grandchildren, Brayden and Keenan Medford of Maple Ridge and brother Henderson Maxwell (Barbados).
A Celebration of her life will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 23500 Dewdney Trunk Road, in Maple Ridge on Thursday, October 3rd from 2 – 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society and Diabetes Canada,
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Foyer Maillard Long Term Care, Coquitlam, for their exceptional love, care and support of Monica during the final years of her journey.
May her heart be at peace.
