1939-2024
At her residence, Friday September 13, 2024, surrounded by
her loving family, Mrs. Glenetta O’Neil of California Settlement
passed away at the age of 85 years. She was the wife of George O’Neil
for the past 68 years. Born at Perth-Andover in 1939 she was the
daughter of the late Harry and Rosie (Kinney) Hamilton.
Glenetta worked as an ECG Technician at Hotel-Dieu of St.
Joseph Hospital in Perth-Andover for 33 years.
She is survived by her husband George, three children, Kevin
O’Neil (Beverly), Larry O’Neil (Pauline) and Pamela O’Neil (Jean-Guy
Morin), all of California Settlement, six grandchildren, Jessie,
Jason, Tyler, Dustin, Kayla and Katelyn, two great grandchildren,
Weston and Ryder, one brother, Thomas Hamilton (Hilda) of California
Settlement, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
brother Richard Hamilton (late Ann).
A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday,
October 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the Sunset Cemetery in California
Settlement with Rev. Roy Dee officiating.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated by the family.
