Shirley Agnes (Fox) Allan of Clifford passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Monday, February 27, 2023 in her 88th year.
Wife of Larry Moore.
Mother of Kathy Middleton of Waterloo, Sandra Campbell of Collingwood, Bruce Campbell of Pine River, MB, John Campbell of Kitchener, Victor Campbell of Victoria, BC.
Grandmother of Jasper Pare, Riki-kay Middleton, Sandy Alexander Middleton, and Rebecca Middleton.
Great-grandmother of Roe Autumn Pare.
Predeceased by her step-brothers Lawrence Fox and Frank Fox. Her step-sister Mary Ann Richards lives in Abbotsford, BC.
Following a busy life raising five children, Shirley invested her creative energy into the arts including watercolour and acrylic painting. She also loved to garden. As an active member of the Baha’i Faith she travelled twice to the Baha’i Holy Land in Israel.
Royal Terrace in Palmerston provided a warm, cozy and healthy atmosphere for Shirley and the staff were so kind and compassionate. The wonderful staff of the Home and Community Care Support Services Waterloo Wellington (formerly Waterloo Wellington LHIN) enabled Shirley to stay at home for quite some time. Through blizzard and heat wave they were there to help.
A family graveside service will be held at Clifford Cemetery on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
