Myrtle Annabelle “Annie” (Spencer) McGeehan
– 97, Truro, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at
Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Annie was a military wife and lived and worked in numerous
cities across Canada. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years,
William E. McGeehan (1929-2007).
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and
was predeceased by her parents, Horace and Maude (Vance) Spencer;
sister, Helen Wilks (Jim); brother, Jim Spencer.
Annie is survived by three daughters, Penny Baker (Howard),
Joyce McGeehan (Larry Burt), Wendy Willms (Fred); grandson, Steven
Gallaher (Laura).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Honouring
Annie’s wishes, there will be no service. A private
interment will be held in Old Barns Cemetery. Tributes, words of
