Irene Girling passed away on September 2, 2024 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 95 years.
Irene is survived by her son Mark (Karen) Girling; daughters Sandra Gamble, and Brenda Girling; grandchildren Toby (Josh) Smith, Tammy (Colin) Woelk, Katy (Steve) Woit, Cody (Brandi) Brouilette, Tory Brouilette, and Tyler Brouilette; sisters-in-law Ada Ashton and Betty Ashton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private family Graveside Service willl be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 followed by a public Memorial Reception for family and friends at the Elks Hall in Ponoka from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to S.T.A.R.S.
