Obituary For Colton Allan Dennis Cameron
February 13, 2009 – August 24, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our family light, Colton Allan Dennis Cameron, on August 24, 2024, at the age of 15.
Colton was born in Grande Prairie, AB, and grew up playing and working on the family farm. Colton was a young man in motion. He loved his quad, and in life he hit the ground running from the moment he could get his feet under him. He enjoyed the farm life; the wide-open spaces and opportunities it provided for his “need for speed”. Vancouver Island was another place where Colton loved to be. Many great memories were made when fishing and boating on the ocean with Grandpa Terry and Grandma Lori, and his brother Corbin. He was always the captain of the fishing boat.
Colton loved his brother Corbin and the time they spent together. The boys were always side by side everywhere their travels and journeys took them. Whether it was creating their own trails with their dirt bikes and quads, tearing through the snow on their snowmobiles, or even just throwing a line and kicking back while they fished, Colton and Corbin could be found together. Colton also cherished his cousins, and deeply amused and entertained his uncles.
Colton, you are loved so deeply. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Colton will be loved forever and ever by his mom, Chelsea Walker, his dad, Mitchell Cameron, and stepmom Crystal Sorken, his siblings Corbin Cameron, Madison Sandboe, Trinity Fulton, Carter and Brenner Longson, his paternal grandparents Lori and Terry Cameron, and maternal grandparents Lori and Louis Tremblay. Colton will also be remembered by his paternal cousins, Cale, Chase, Kaden, Easton, Natalie, and Carson Cameron, and his maternal cousins Koen and Kessler Gallagher, Eberle and Crosby Anderson, and Dylan, Darren, and Ella Bland. He will be forever missed by his paternal aunts and uncles Cole and Kristie Cameron, and Cody and Shelby Cameron, and his maternal aunts and uncles Victoria and Teagan Anderson, Kate and Mike Crochetiere, and Steffanie and Steve Bland.
Colton will be guided in Heaven by his great-grandparents, Alex and Jean Cameron, and Andrew and Marian Waldner, and Dennis Potter, and his great uncles, Wayne Waldner, and Jaime Waldner.
Rest in Peace, our dear little man. May you fly faster and further on your wings than ever before.
