At Huronview, Clinton on Saturday, August 24, 2024, Mrs. Janny (Jouwsma) Fear, formerly of Wingham, at the age of 83 years.
Partner of Jim Gunton of Blyth. Mother of Rosamarie & Martin Shell of Orillia, Murray & Carolyn Fear of Wingham, and David & Laurie Fear of Clifford. Grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 17. Sister of Anne Saj of Amsterdam, NY, and Rina Waddell of Staffa. Also missed by dear friend Donna Haugh of Wingham.
Predeceased by her parents Otto & Pieternella (Pierra) Jouwsma, sisters Nellie Jouwsma, Siebrigje Muscheid, and Dina Nethery, and brothers John Jouwsma, and Kees Jouwsma.
A private family service will be held, with interment in Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flower, memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made through the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
