Our sunshine passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the age of 58. Loving mother of Troy Luke. Cherished grandma of Riley, Halen, Lexi, Oakley and Cohen. Dear sister of Darlene (Gary), Eileen (Chad), Tina (Paul), and Armand Jr. (Holly). She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, God children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Myra is predeceased by her parents John McKay and Gloria Groulx and by her brother Ira.
Myra always had a kind, loving and gentle spirit. She was known to be a mother to all. She had a passion for spending time with family, friends and playing music. She was always present for everyone in the community. She was known to always be ready to lend a helping hand.
The family would like to thank the Dialysis staff at the Timmins and District Hospital as well as her family Doctor Louise Bellemare for all their compassion and care.
A visitation will be held in the Mattagami Community Complex on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2pm. The funeral will be held on August 26, 2024, at 11am followed by a community feast at the Mattagami Community Complex. Remembrance donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
