TILLEY, Arthur “Ray” – It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Ray at home in Belleville on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 at the age of 86. Son of the late Joseph and Olive Tilley. Cherished father to Darlene Tilley (late Brian) of Stittsville, Kristine Charlton (Duane) of Belleville, and step father to Robert Jacobs “Sonny.” Predeceased by step daughter Judy Wells. He is survived by siblings; Dennis, June, Joan, Karen and predeceased by sisters Pearl and Josephine. Ray will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Brenda (Steve), Crystal, Charlie (Kristin), Cindy (Keegan) and by great-grandchildren; Jared, Ryan, Mason, Owen and Maybellene. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial to take place at Highland Park Cemetery in Carp, Ontario next week. Further details will be provided by the family. If desired, donations in Ray’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Rushnell Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588).
