It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” LeBlanc, 63, of Riverview, on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at the Moncton Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherry; his son, Justin (Caitlin); his daughter, Cassandra (Dan); and grandchildren: Olivia, Sophie, Emily, Celeste, and Ciaran.
He is also survived by his brothers: Armand (Darlene), his twin brother, Roger; his sisters: Gloria, Ann, Angela, Claire; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lionel (2013), and Marie (2002) LeBlanc.
Robert got his GED then went on to NBCC earning his electrical journeyman license. An electrician by trade, Robert became a handy-man extraordinaire. Cars to household, if he didn’t know how to fix or repair it, he would learn how!
In earlier years, Cassandra and Robert were the best of buddies, sharing a likeness for horror movies and snowmobiling. He coached Justin’s baseball team to a provincial win, proud of his son’s many accomplishments. He shared his children’s music choices, taking them to concerts.
He loved the beach, camping, Sunday drives, and time spent with friends and family, especially his LeBlanc family card games. Also, talking “sharp” and “what’s happening” with the guys at IOOB and Keglers.
The family will be having a meet and greet at Passage (625 Mountain Road, Moncton) on Saturday, August 31st, 2024, from 2pm until 4pm.
Donations in memory of Robert can be made to the Oncology of the Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
