It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Raymond on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 87.
Cherishes father of Doris Roy (Gilles), Raymonde Verville (Frank), Michel Bigras, Colette Fortier (Daniel) and Alain Bigras (Donna Lynn Craig). Loving grandfather of Chantale (Steve), Josée, Julie (Sheldon), Claude, Isabelle (Kyle), Cynthia, Kyle, Rémi and Jonah. Dear great-grandfather of Jaydon (Daryle-Anne), Rylan, Gavin and Nolan.
He will be missed by the mother of his children Maria LeClair (Garfield McAdam).
Raymond is predeceased by his parents, siblings and by his loyal companion; his dog TouTou.
Raymond was a kind, gentle and loving soul. He was always devoted to his children, grand-children and great-grand-children. He was an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and spending time outside. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on Medical C and the Hospice unit for all their compassion and care during Raymond’s last few weeks at the hospital.
Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no funeral or visitation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
