Audrey Ann Desjarlais Obituary
Audrey Ann Desjarlais
June 17, 1966 – August 16, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audrey Ann Desjarlais on Friday, august 16, 2024 at the age of 58 years. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Audrey was a vibrant spirit whose love for life touched everyone she encountered.
Born on June 17, 1966, she spent her days immersed in the beauty of the outdoors, finding joy in nature’s wonders. She adored spending time outside, whether it was exploring scenic trails or simply reveling in the tranquility of a sunlit garden. Her gentle heart extended to all creatures, particularly bunnies, which always brought a smile to her face.
Her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. Audrey had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved and special, always ready with a warm hug and a listening ear. Cuddles were a common language in her home—a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Music was the soundtrack of her life, weaving through her days and adding depth to her experiences. She found solace and joy in melodies that resonated deeply with her soul, and she often shared this passion with her family, creating lasting memories through the power of song.
Audrey leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and connection. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Clifford Desjarlais (Debbie), Cheyenne (Jesse) Jones, Miranda Desjarlais (Dustin), Natasha Desjarlais, Dakota Robinson and Jodanna Robinson; her beloved grandchildren, Carter, Aubrey, Waylon, Treytin, Jayda and Russell; her parents, Rose and Willard Desjarlais; siblings, Willard, Ellen (Darrell), Lena and Diane (Kevin) and a host of friends and family who were fortunate to know her. She is predeceased by her baby brother, Mervin.
A celebration of her life will be held at Violet Grove Community Hall on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Audrey’s memory be made directly to Drayton Valley Dialysis Unit through Drayton Valley Hospital Foundation, 4550 Madsen Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta T7A 1N8.
Her spirit will forever be a part of the serenity of the outdoors, the warmth of family gatherings, and the sweet notes of her favorite songs. Rest in peace, dear Audrey. Your love and light will continue to shine in our lives.
