Obituary of Frank Raymon Bell
Frank Raymon Bell passed quietly Thursday evening. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Frances (nee Buck) and is survived by his six children, Linda (Malcolm Stoffelsen), Christine (Frank Wybenga), Diane (Frank Ackerman), Frank Bell, Ruthanne Bell, and Darlene (Joel Hooper). Beloved Papa to his twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Frank was a quiet man with a mind for motors, electronics, or anything he could “tinker” with. Frank spent many years working for the Hamilton Spectator, Oshawa Times, and the Guelph Daily Mercury. In his retirement he enjoyed crafting walking canes, playing crokinole, and spending time with his grandchildren. Frank was known for his sweet tooth and enjoyed the simple pleasures of a long walk or drive in search of the best pastries and ice cream in southern Ontario. Frank was a devoted member of his church, and spent many hours volunteering his time to children. It was well known throughout his friends and neighbours that he could always be called to lend a hand when things needed fixing. Frank found joy in old hymns, specialty clocks, and golden age comedy shows. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at the Brock Road Cemetery.
