OLIN, Doris Ruth – On Friday, August 16, 2024. Born July 22, 1943, daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Finkel, wife of Philip, mother and mother-in-law of Rebecca and Collin, grandmother of Ellie and Julia, sister of Annette and Richard, aunt of Sara, Jenny, Leah and Anna, best friend of Cyndi. Professor (retired) of Philosophy, Glendon College, York University. The family is grateful to L’Chaim Retirement Home for their excellent care. Doris dealt bravely with Parkinson’s disease for many years. In the end she died of cancer. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
