Norma Mary (née Comeau) Somers Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Norma Somers, 81 of Lakeville Westmorland Co., on Friday, August, 16, 2024. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Veronique (Robichaud) Comeau.
Norma will be sadly missed by her husband of 57 years Eugene Somers; children Derrick Somers, Kevin Somers (Carla), Garth Somers (Mike), Tanya Somers (Kevin), Kelly LeBlanc (Paul) and Shawn Somers; grandchildren Stephen, Sydney, Trenton, Tessa, Erica, Emily, Shea and Shaylen; great grandchildren Caleb, Brady, Jessa, Lennox and Quinn; siblings Yvon (Sandra), Gerald (Lillian), Lucy (late Bobby Copp), Edith (late Steve Carter), Ida (late Gary Duguay), Edgar (Carol), Mabel (Ivan Anderson), Paul (Valerie), Claude and Angela (Lowell).
In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her brother Ronald.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton, NB (506-858-1995).
A gathering to celebrate Norma’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Lakeville Community Centre, (2018 Rte. 134, Lakeville Westmorland Co., NB). Interment, St. Samuel’s Parish Cemetery, Douglastown, at a later date.
