Steven David Edward Patterson of Ottawa passed away on August 11th, 2024 at the age of 68. Born in Halifax, Steve grew up in Hamilton and emigrated to England after graduation. He settled in Ottawa in 1981 with his wife Ann, welcoming their son, Ian Robert, a few years later. A courier for over 30 years, Steve was social and outgoing, a dedicated organizer and coach with the YBC for many years, as well as being a proud member of the 5 Pin Bowlers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ann, son, Ian Robert, mother Patricia (Morrison) Faragher, his younger brothers, Michael Douglas Cake and Mark Patterson (Loreen), nieces and nephews, Sean, Danielle, Charli and Spencer. He was predeceased by his sister, Erin Hall (Cameron).
Arrangements are in the care of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. A private family service will be held at a later date.
