Tytler, Carolyn Louise
Peacefully with family at her side on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Meadows of Dorchester, 86 years of age. Wife of the late Donald. Beloved mother of the late Bill (Susan) Custers, Jack (Lena) Custers, Marilyn Custers, Curtis Custers and step-mother to Chris Tytler (Jenn) and Kim Tytler (Michael Hicks). Loving Grandma of Heather, Adam and Ma T of Joshua. Dear sister of Elizabeth Longo. Carolyn was a member of St. Alfred Church. She worked as a teacher with the Niagara Catholic School Board for 35 years and after retiring she attended St. Michael College where she received her Masters in Religious Education. A thank you to all the staff at Meadows of Dorchester for your special care of our mom expecially to Andrew and Carley.
Family and friends will be received at the George Darte Funeral Chaple, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers for Carolyn will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 19, 2024 at St. Alfred Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
