Aurèle Labonté passed away serenely, at the Kemptville District Hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 78 years. Loving father of Roger (Julie), Renée (Alain), Shane, and Venessa. Cherished grandfather of Caleb, Samuel, Keegan, Félix, Morgan, Adèle, and Rock (Natasha).
Also left to mourn are his siblings; Réjean (Marie-Berthe), Lise (Michel), Jean-Yves (Janice), Michelle (Alain); his brother-in-law André, and sisters-in-law, Lise and Colette, as well as many dear nieces and nephews.
Aurèle is now reunited with his wife, Irène Labonte (nee Lalonde), his parents Roger and Yvonne (nee Lantaigne), his sister Claire, his sister-in-law Jane, and brothers Claude, Raymond, and Gilbert.
The Family will receive friends at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Funeral Home, 805 Prescott St., Kemptville on Monday, August 26th from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. His funeral will follow at the Holy Cross Church at 11:00 AM.
Donations to the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation for a CT scan would be greatly appreciated.
