Kalmakoff, June Mabel
June 11, 1933 – August 4, 2024
June passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4 with family by her side.
She is survived by her husband William; her children, Rod (Geri), Sandy, and Shelley (Bill); 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents (Alex and Mary), siblings (George, Ed, and Marj) son (Richard), great granddaughter (Megan), and son-in-law (Dave).
June lived her life with such passion and dedication. She brought laughter and joy to everyone she met, and developed many special friendships over the years.
She lived life to the fullest, and she enjoyed many activities – from bowling, bingo, gardening, lawn bowling, casino trips, berry-picking adventures, crafting, shopping trips to the States, auction sales, cooking, card games, volunteering at the Doukhobor bread booth, and hosting family get-togethers.
She taught us all to love life, to make memories we will cherish forever, and to always love family and friends.
We will forever hold you in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
Donations (in lieu of flowers) can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada
