Inez was born in Delisle, Sask. on December 23, 1928 to parents, Lee and Ellen
Zoerb. She had two brothers, Leslie and Elmer, and two sisters Muriel and
Doreen.
Their family moved to the White Fox District when she was 6 years old. When she
was 7 years old her family moved to their homestead near Love, Sask.
When she was 8 years old Inez asked Jesus to come into her heart and save her.
She was baptized in water on the confession of your faith when she was 18 years
old, and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit when she was 19.
She graduated from grade 12 at the age of 16 years old, and went to teachers
college for July and August, then that fall she began teaching in a one-room
schoolhouse with all the grades. Altogether she taught school at the Nipawin
school unit for 24 years, eventually teaching full grades from kindergarten to grade
three, however; grades 1 & 2 were her favourite.
She met her husband Tom Shilling who was a widower with two little girls, Della
and Brenda in 1967. Tom, Della, and Brenda lived on a farm near Birch Hills
Sask.
In 1968 Tom and Inez were married, and Della and Brenda became her daughters.
A year later God blessed them with a son, Earl.
They lived on the family farm until 1991, which was when they moved to the town
of Birch Hills.
Tom went to heaven in 1999 to be with Jesus and Inez continued to live in the
house until 2009 and then she moved to the 4-plex in Birch Hills where she
remained till these last few weeks. Inez longed for heaven and was praying and
believing she will meet you all in heaven one day.

Great Granddaughter Eve LaFaver
Kim’s son Colin Larson
Kim’s daughter Julie Larson (Sidney Durpal)
Son Earl (Tracey) Shilling
Grandson Benjamin (Jenna) Shilling

And numerous loved ones and friends that were prayed for by name.
A funeral Service for Inez will be held on Tuesday August 13, 2024 @2:00PM at St. Mary – St. Anne’s Church in Birch Hills, SK
