It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan on Saturday August 3rd, 2024.
He leaves behind his wife of 45 years Shari, his son Robbin (Trina Picard), his daughter Crystal (Barry),
his grandchildren Iris-Rose, Sophie, Parker, Preslee and Miley (Picard). Also left to mourn are his brother Remi (Nicole); his sisters Rose Uitto (Henry) and Carole Smith (Rob) and by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Dan lived to work taking pride in everything he did from logging to developing Villars Bay Resort alongside with his partners, his son Robbin and his wife Shari.
As per Dan’s wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place.
Remembrance donations to the South Porcupine Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
