JULIANA NATYWARY
Juliana Agnes (Rynsoever) Natywary, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 31, 2024 in Stratford, Ontario.
Born in Holland on December 29th 1946. Julie immigrated to Canada at the age of 6 with her parents John and Henny and three siblings Myra, Paul and Henny. One of her earliest homes was what would become the Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville. Later, she was walking by a field where Bruce was driving the combine. Distracted by her, he didn’t notice a rock jam in the header. They met by a chance encounter, which led to a nearly six-decade-long marriage. Together they established their farm and raised four cherished children, eventually settling around Kinkora.
In her “retirement” (though farmers never truly retire) Julie and Bruce would divide their time between the farm and their cottage near Lake Nipissing. She found joy in fishing, exploring the forest on their ATV, and relaxing in the sunroom by the water. Julie loved hosting her entire family and was renowned for baking the world’s greatest pies.
Julie is survived by her beloved husband Bruce and was a proud mother to Tammy Fluttert (Henry), Roy Natywary (Pam) Carrie Uniac (Jason) and Ian Natywary (Terri). She was a loving grandmother to Kevin Fluttert, Nicole Houben (Corey), Kendall Fluttert (Andrew), Tyler Natywary (Anita), Hayden Uniac, Peyton Natywary, Nate Uniac, Piers Natywary and her five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Myra Gulley and Henny Marshall (Dan) and sister-in-law of Nancy Rynsoever. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents John and Henny, son Roy, brother Paul, and brother-in-law Barry Gulley.
Julie’s family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support she has received. They also express gratitude to the Stratford Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre and Stratford Rotary Hospice for their exceptional care through her illness.
Friends are invited to join in celebrating Julie’s life at St. Patrick’s Church, Kinkora on Friday August 9th, 2024 at 11:00 am. A light luncheon will follow at the Kinkora Hall. Memorial donations to honour her memory can be made to the Stratford Perth Hospice Foundation at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
