It is with tears of earthly sorrow and heavenly joy that we announce the passing of Robert William Sheach in Kingston, Ontario on July 23, 2024.
Robert was born in Durham, Ontario to David and Ruby Sheach on August 11, 1953. He grew up in Guelph, where he started his career as an Engineering Technologist. He committed his life to Jesus when he was in his late teens and his love for Christ, the Church, and his family define his legacy. Robert was faithfully involved in Brethren Assemblies and Bible Camps in many places including Guelph, Sudbury, Kingston, Zambia, Serbia, and Honduras where he left his mark through dedicated service and humble leadership.
Robert is survived by Barbara Anne, his wife of 47 years; his children Christopher (Laura), Beth, Meredith (Daniel); his grandchildren Aeryck, Quinn, and Céili; and his brothers David (Sandy) and Angus (Deb). He is predeceased by his father David, his mother Ruby, and his son Alastair.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Meadowbrook Bible Chapel on July 31, 2024 at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lunga Children’s Trust via MSC Canada (donate here) or to Kingston Christian School (donate here).
