Obituary For Leroy Brian Bluecoat
July 21, 1979 – July 14, 2024
It is with heavy hearts we mournfully announce the unexpected passing of Leroy at 44 years of age.
Leroy was born in Inuvik, Northwest Territories and was the pride and joy of his Mother. He loved his family and friends dearly and would always help anyone in need with what he had. He and Lisa had two beautiful children who were his treasures. Leroy had a profound love for his stepdad, Keith, who he “always” said was “his only Dad.”
Leroy is survived by his loving mother, Margaret Spry, dad, Keith Spry and nephew, Tyrell Bluecoat, his common-law wife, Lisa Dawn Balsillie and their children, Gabriel, and Christina Bluecoat. He is also survived by his numerous family members in Alberta, Northwest Territories and British Columbia.
He is predeceased by his loving sister, Jaime Lynn and baby niece, Mandy.
A Memorial service for Leroy will be held at a later date and he will be laid to rest beside his sister, Jaime Lynn.
Donations in memory of Leroy may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
