It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing, peacefully at home, of Steve Savoy
on July 16th, 2024.
Loving husband to Jean Lamarche and adored father to Lonnie (Jennifer) Savoy. Stepfather to Mark (Elissa) Lamarche and Candice (Ken) Farquharson. Proud Grandpa to Velicia, Kayla, Emma, Nicholas, Kylee and Poppy to Addison, Gemma, Jayden, Ainslee and Jacob.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Melvina Savoy, brother Donald (Elaine) Savoy and sisters Lois and Arlene Savoy.
Cherished brother to Thelma (John) Demers, Barry (Marlene) Savoy and Betty (Joe) VanHoof. Brother-in-law to Brian Griffith, Blair (Paula) Griffith and Linda (Doug) Schultz. Steve will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law, Doris Griffith and his many nieces and nephews.
Steve was a hardworking man who had a career driving transport most of his life and always gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Steve was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing with his son and friends.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. In keeping with Steve’s wishes, a private interment will be held at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery in Eganville.
