It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Madelaine Lecompte on July 11, 2024 at the age of 68. Cheryl was born on March 23, 1956 to Bertrand and Rachel (nee Paquette) Cardinal . Cheryl’s best times were spent camping with her family and dogs, being in the pool and playing bingo .
Cheryl met the love of her life and beloved husband Ronald Lecompte of 45 years in Ottawa Ontario. Cheryl is survived by her husband Ronald her two children Ami (Ryan) and Wayne (Erin) and her siblings, Pierette (Gilles), Andy and Richard .
Cheryl will be remembered by her many grandchildren Sawyer, Sutton , Savannah, Samrin, Adreas and Cameron. She was proceeded in death by her father Bertrand, her mother Rachel and her brother Dennis.
To honour Cheryl’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be a private moment to celebrate her life . We invite you to please light a candle and celebrate Cheryl‘s memory in your own ways. I know that she will be present with each and every one of us in spirit. A deep thank you to the nursing staff and doctors at the Ottawa Heart Institute for their excellent care and compassion.
