Jessica Verheij Obituary
Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, aunt and friend, JESSICA VERHEIJ left this world unexpectedly, at the age of 30, on Wednesday July 10th, 2024.
She was born to Ron and Yvonne Verheij in Woerden, the Netherlands on December 17th. 1993.
Jessica grew up in the small town of Linschoten, the Netherlands, until she and her parents immigrated to Canada in September of 2005.
After completing High School in Okotoks, she moved to Lethbridge in the summer of 2012 and graduated from the University of Lethbridge in October of 2022 as a Bachelor of Management – Accounting.
In August of 2021 she moved to her little piece of paradise in Magrath, where she got even more passionate about caring for her animals, growing flowers and spending time outdoors. She also discovered, much to her surprise, the love of baking.
She cherished the times when she could show her family and friends her flower and vegetable garden and would surprise many of them with fresh eggs laid by her chickens.
We will always remember her infectious laugh, beautiful blue eyes and carry personality. Her charm and silly sense of humor put a smile on the face of many people.
When you think of Jessica, celebrate the good memories you have of her, as life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Jessica leaves behind her parents, her furry kids Willow, Stella and Twix, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in both the Netherlands, Canada and the USA.
The family of Jessica warmly welcomes all who knew her to Snodgrass Funeral Homes in Okotoks to Celebrate her life on Friday July 19, 2024 at 1:00 P.M.
