Jean Taylor of Maryfield, Saskatchewan, beloved wife of Murray Taylor, passed away at the Southeast Integrated Long Term Care in Moosomin, Saskatchewan on Friday, July 12, 2024 in her 89th year.
Jean was born on the family farm on August 16, 1935, to William and Alma Smith. She was raised on this farm and received her education at Hillcrest School. After school she worked in Maryfield as a telephone operator. On November 9, 1957, Jean married Murray Taylor, and to this union two daughters, Beth and Linda, were born.
Left to mourn Jean’s passing is her husband Murray, daughter Beth (Lloyd) Strong, their family; Amy (Tayt), their children, Kianah, Kyla and Kesler; Jeremy, his children, Mercedes and Nash, Tiffany (Jason), their children, Oaklen, Remy and Rogan. Daughter Linda (Danny) Roberts, their family; Jason, his children, Dani and Luke; Aerial (Antoine); Chelsea (Steve); one sister-in-law, Verla Smith (Maryfield). Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, her in-laws, 2 brothers, 1 brother-in-law, 2 sister-in-laws.
Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Woodville Cemetery with luncheon to follow at the Maryfield lower Auditorium. (Please bring lawn chair to service)
