CZIFRA, Agnes (nee Nicol) – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday July 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Deszo ‘Desi’ Czifra (1997). Cherished mother of Teresa ‘Teri’ (Doug) Elliot, the late David Czifra and Roseanne Morton. Beloved grandmother of Colin (Lenita) Elliot, Andrew (Lucy) Elliot, David Morton and great-grandmother of Lily and Charlie Elliot. Agnes is survived by her sisters Ann Rogers, Maureen Davis, brothers Jim (Christy) Nicol, John (Suzanne) Nicol and sister-in-law Leona Nicol. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her godchildren. Predeceased by Isabelle (Fred) Karwath, Robert (Bonnie) Nicol, Alec Nicol, Ted Rogers, Nora (Jim) Gardner and Jerry Davis. Agnes was an administrative assistant at St. Gabriel Lalemant Catholic school for many years, where she was loved by many students and teaching staff. Agnes was an active member of Our Lady of the Scapular Church choir. She was a true friend, selfless, kind-hearted and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. Agnes will be deeply missed by many friends and co-workers. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday July 18, 2024 from 10 am to 12 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home. A private Rite of Committal will take place at a later date.
