Obituary of Sherri Ann Forrest
Sherri Ann Forrest, known for her strength and kindness, peacefully departed this world on July 7, 2024, at the age of 52, after bravely facing ALS. She leaves behind a legacy of courage and compassion that touched countless lives.
Sherri will be deeply missed by her devoted partner, Dino Conti (her prince charming), who lovingly stood by her side throughout her journey. She is survived by her father-in-law, Marco Conti, and remembered fondly by her parents, Jerry Forrest and stepmother Rose Forrest. Sherri was preceded in death by her mother, Lynda Wills.
She will be forever cherished by her siblings: Tammy (Daryl), Tracy (Mike), Jeff (Kelly), step-sister Annette (Jamie), step-brothers Bobby (Sue) and Randy (Heather). Sherri’s memory will live on in the hearts of her uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.
Sherri was blessed with an incredible circle of friends whose unwavering support and kindness enriched her life immeasurably. Their friendship and selflessness exemplified the true meaning of companionship.
Awaiting Sherri in heaven are her mother, grandparents, cousin Greg, nephew Stephen, and her cherished pets: Gemma, Chico, and Daisy the Cat.
Sherri will be remembered for her enduring spirit, gentle soul, and the laughter she brought to all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION and RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the ALS Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
