Cher père d’Alain (Sylvie Drolet) et de Daniel (Ghislaine St-Pierre). Grand-père chéri d’Alexandre (Laurence) Audrey (Shurman), Julien, Vanessa (Folco) et de ses deux arrière-petits-enfants Elio et Milia. Sa sœur Rita Summons (Gene) et son frère Roger Laporte (Thérèse) se souviennent affectueusement de lui. Prédécédé par ses sœurs Antoinette Laporte, Florence Lalonde (feu Jean-Guy) et son frère Yvon Laporte (feu Anna). La célébration eucharistique aura lieu en l’église St-Gabriel, 55, rue Appleford, Ottawa, Ontario, le jeudi 23 février 2023 à 11 h. La famille recevra les condoléances à l’église à compté de 10 h 30. Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Société Alzheimer d’Ottawa et du comté de Renfrew.

Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the age of 95. Dear son of the late Yvonne (née Séguin) and the late André Laporte. Beloved husband of Yvette (née Lemay). Dear father of Alain (Sylvie Drolet) and Daniel (Ghislaine St.Pierre). Cherished grandfather of Alexandre (Laurence) Audrey (Shurman), Julien, Vanessa (Folco) and his two great-grandchildren Elio and Milia. Fondly remembered by his sister Rita Summons (Gene) and his brother Roger Laporte (Thérèse). Predeceased by his sisters Antoinette Laporte, Florence Lalonde (late Jean-Guy) and brother Yvon Laporte (late Anna). The Funeral Mass will be held at St-Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 55 Appleford Street, Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. The family will receive condolences at the church from 10:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to The Alzheimers Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated by the family.
