The passing of Horace Charles MacKay of Tyne Valley formerly
of East Bideford, occurred peacefully at Stewart Memorial Home on July
6, 2024. Horace was born on June 17, 1940, son of the late Charles and
Jean (MacArthur) MacKay.
Possessing an adventurous spirit, a courageous heart and an
irrepressible positive outlook, Horace lived a full and fulfilling
life.
Horace is survived by his siblings Gloria (David) Cook, Carol
(Gary) MacLeod and their families. Predeceased by his parents, brother
Bill and his wife Joan.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. At Horace’s
request, no visitation or service will be held.
Horace was very happy at Stewart Memorial, and grateful for
the care he received. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff at the
Stewart Memorial Home
