Obituary For Bonnie Paul
May 11, 1953 – February 3, 2023
We mournfully announce the passing of Bonnie Paul who passed in the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital on Friday February 3, 2023 after a short illness.
Bonnie was a great mother, sister, auntie, friend, and coworker.
Born on May 11, 1953, in Fort Vermillion Alberta, she passed at the age of sixty-nine in Grande Prairie, where she had lived for most of her life. She started working at P&G on November 10th, 1979. She worked there for many years starting out as a lumber grader in the planer mill and moved over to be a Recaust Operator and Recaust Process Specialist and trainer in Unit 1 before she retired after 35 years. She loved spending time with family friends and looking after the dogs for her son, Cole. She loved laying a wreath in memory of her Fathers service on Remembrance Day.
Bonnie is predeceased by her mother and father Hester and Warren Paul, her brother Rupert Wayne, and sister Audrey Ellen Paul. She is survived by her son Cole (Meagan), her daughter Kaitlin (Wade), her brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Danny (Barb), sister Penny (Russ), and many, many other family members, and friends.
A funeral service for Bonnie will be held in Fort Vermillion on September 14th, 2024 at 2:00pm at the St. Henry’s Roman Catholic Church, 4601 River Road, Fort Vermillion, AB, with burial to follow.
