Thomas Paul Rubec
December 21, 1970 – July 3, 2024
It is with profound sadness that the family of Thomas Rubec wishes to announce his passing with his loving family by his side.
Tom is survived by his parents, Patricia and Tom Sr.; his brother, David; his sister, Cynthia; his son, Evan; and his daughter, Chloe.
Although Tom graduated from UNB with a degree in business, his main interest was in computers. From a very young age, he was fascinated by all things computer related and felt fortunate that he was able to have a career as a database administrator as it allowed him to be involved in his passion.
In keeping with his request, a private funeral will be held with only his immediate family. In keeping with his wishes, he asked his family to thank the staff at the DECRH for the care and kindness he received during his illness. He also wanted to thank his many friends and co-workers for their friendship and support over the years.
Tom, we have lost a loving son, father, and brother. We will miss you forever.
