Irene Catherine Dunn Obituary
Dunn; Irene Catherine (nee Barker) – Peacefully on July 2, 2024, at the age of 86. Irene was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Terence. Also predeceased by her parents Frederick and Mabel Barker (nee Grozelle), brother James Barker and sisters Mary Follows and Lois Farace.
Irene is survived by her siblings Helen Pinkney and Christopher Barker. She is lovingly remembered by her children Michael, Gregory (Barbara), Margaret Silberg (Brett), and Catherine Leblanc (Sylvain). Fondly remembered by grandchildren James (Lindsay), Andrew (Katie), Nicholas, Meghan, Joseph (Claire), Charles (Lisette), Annie (Mike), Benjamin (Jessica), Kate (Samuel) and 10 great-grandchildren and by her niece Angela Gaskell.
Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. As per Irene’s wishes, there will be no service, she will be laid to rest with Terence in Lindsay, Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
